What the IP101G family does

The IP101G is a single-port Fast Ethernet transceiver supporting 10/100 Mbps operations via MII, RMII, TP, or Fiber interfaces. Available in IP101GA, IP101GR, and IP101GRI variants, it covers commercial, industrial, and extended temperature ranges. It operates on a single 3.3V supply with a built-in regulator, consuming less than 0.15W at full load. The device features a 1.3 MHz gain bandwidth equivalent, supports jumbo frames up to 12KB, and includes auto MDI/MDIX. It is typically used in NAS, network printers, servers, IP phones, and smart TVs to connect LAN devices via Cat 5 cables or fiber optics.
