What the GM75176E family does

The GM75176E is a high-speed RS-485/RS-422 transceiver featuring ±15kV ESD protection and fail-safe circuitry. It operates with a 4.5V to 5.5V supply, supports data rates up to 10Mbps, and includes enhanced slew-rate limiting to minimize EMI. The device offers a 1-unit-load input impedance allowing up to 32 transceivers on a single bus. It is intended for industrial control, metering applications, security systems, and other half-duplex communication environments where error-free data transmission is critical.
