What the Si8230 does
The Si823x family combines two independent isolated drivers in a single package, offering high-side/low-side or dual driver configurations with 0.5 A or 4.0 A peak output currents. These drivers support up to 5 kVRMS input-to-output isolation and 24 V maximum supply voltage, featuring fast 45 ns propagation times and up to 8 MHz switching frequency. Ideal for isolated MOSFET and IGBT gate drive applications, the parts serve motor control systems, battery management, and power delivery systems. Available in industrial and automotive grades with SOIC, LGA, and QFN packages, they meet UL 1577 and AEC-Q100 standards for robustness in demanding environments.
