What the ISO1211 family does

The ISO1211 and ISO1212 are isolated 24V to 60V digital input receivers compliant to IEC 61131-2 Type 1, 2, and 3 characteristics. These devices support 9V to 300V DC and AC inputs with a wide supply range of 2.25V to 5.5V, handling up to 4Mbps data rates and ±60V input tolerance. The ISO1211 offers a single-channel SOIC-8 package while the ISO1212 provides dual-channel SSOP-16 functionality. They are typically used in programmable logic controller digital input modules, motor drive I/O, position feedback systems, and CNC control applications. Their accurate current limit and high transient immunity simplify system design and reduce board temperatures compared to traditional optocoupler solutions.
