00 — Overview

What the ADS1013 family does

The ADS1013, ADS1014, and ADS1015 are ultra-small, low-power, 12-bit analog-to-digital converters featuring an internal reference, oscillator, and programmable comparator. These devices operate across a 2.0V to 5.5V supply range, support data rates from 128 to 3300 samples per second, and consume 150μA in continuous-conversion mode. The ADS1013 offers one input channel, while the ADS1014 and ADS1015 provide one or two channels with programmable gain. Engineers typically use these converters for portable instrumentation, battery monitoring, temperature measurement systems, and factory automation applications where space and power constraints are critical.
