What the HX712 does

The HX712 is a 24-bit A/D converter designed specifically for high-precision electronic scales. This part family integrates a sensor power switch, internal clock oscillator, and battery voltage detection into a single 14-pin SOP-14 package. It features a fixed gain of 128, supports output data rates of 10Hz or 40Hz, and operates with a supply voltage range of 2.6V to 5.5V. The device consumes a typical 1.0mA current during normal operation and drops to less than 1µA in power-down mode. It effectively suppresses 50Hz and 60Hz power interference while providing a full-scale differential input range of ±20mV.
