00 — Overview

What the TM7711 family does

The TM7711 is a single-channel, 24-bit sigma-delta analog-to-digital converter designed for low-frequency measurements in electronic scales. It accepts full-differential analog inputs and provides serial digital output with an integrated low-noise amplifier offering 128x gain. The device features 24-bit no missing code performance, ±0.001% nonlinearity, and built-in temperature sensing. It operates on a single 2.6V to 5.5V supply with a wide industrial temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The chip includes an internal clock oscillator and digital filter to suppress 50Hz and 60Hz power line interference. Users can select between 10Hz and 40Hz output data rates via a simple two-wire serial interface. This component reduces system cost and improves reliability for precision weighing applications.
