What the HX710 family does
The HX710x family comprises 24-bit analog-to-digital converters designed for high-precision electronic scales. The HX710A variant includes an integrated digital temperature sensor, while the HX10B measures the voltage difference between DVDD and AVDD. These chips feature a low-noise amplifier with 128 gain, a built-in clock oscillator requiring no external components, and operation across a 2.6 to 5.5 V supply range. They support output data rates of 10 Hz or 40 Hz with 17-bit noise-free resolution at 10 Hz. The parts operate from -40 to +85°C and are available in 8-pin SOP or DIP packages. They simplify scale design by providing simple digital control via MCU I/O pins without internal register programming.
