What the GP8301 family does

The GP8301 is a PWM to Analog Converter that linearly transforms 0% to 100% duty cycle PWM inputs into 0 to 20 mA analog current outputs. This device features an internal 12-bit DAC, 0.2% typical output error, and 50 PPM/°C temperature coefficient. It operates on 18V to 36V supplies with a maximum voltage rating of 36V and a startup time under 2ms. The component includes an open-circuit alarm function and supports input frequencies from 50Hz to 50kHz. Engineers typically use the GP8301 in 0/4-20mA transmitters, PLC systems, industrial control applications, and sensor interfaces.
