00 — Overview

What the ADXL345 does

The ADXL345-EP is an extended performance, 3-axis digital accelerometer with selectable ranges from ±2 g to ±16 g. It features a 13-bit resolution, 23 µA typical power consumption in measurement mode, and a supply voltage range of 2.0 V to 3.6 V. The device supports SPI and I2C interfaces and includes specialized functions for single and double tap detection, free-fall sensing, and activity monitoring. Designed for industrial and aerospace applications, it survives 10,000 g shock and operates across an extended temperature range of −55°C to +105°C. Its small 3 mm × 5 mm × 1 mm LGA package minimizes space while enabling precise tilt and motion measurement.
