What the TC4426A family does

The TC4426A/TC4427A/TC4428A are dual high-speed power MOSFET drivers operating from 4.5V to 18V. These devices deliver 1.5A peak output current with typical rise and fall times of 25ns and 30ns delay. They feature matched propagation delays, low output impedance of 7 ohms, and latch-up protection against 0.5A reverse current. The family handles 1000pF capacitive loads and accepts up to 5V of noise on the ground pin. Engineers typically use them in switch mode power supplies, line drivers, and pulse transformer drive circuits. Available in 8-pin MSOP, SOIC, DIP, and DFN packages, they ensure reliable MOSFET state control even during large transients.
