What the MSP430F155 does
The MSP430F15x/16x/161x mixed signal microcontrollers feature a 16-bit RISC architecture with 1.8 V to 3.6 V supply voltage. These devices offer 16 KB to 60 KB of flash memory, 512 B to 10 KB of RAM, and 125-ns instruction cycle times. The family includes variants with 12-bit A/D converters, dual 12-bit D/A converters, and multiple timers. Typical applications include sensor systems, industrial control, and hand-held meters. The architecture supports five power-saving modes, with active mode current as low as 330 μA at 1 MHz and standby mode current of 1.1 μA. Wake-up from standby occurs in less than 6 μs. The parts are available in 64-pin QFP and QFN packages across commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
