The HAL248G is a full-polarity, low-power Hall effect switch utilizing mixed-signal CMOS technology and chopper stabilization for stable magnetic switching points. It operates on a single supply of 1.8 to 5.5 V, drawing an average current of 2.5 uA in active mode and 5 mA maximum. The device features a 70 uS wake-up time and 32 ms sleep duration, enabling micro-power battery applications. It serves as a non-contact switch for flip-cover phone screen locks, wireless remote controls, and as a direct replacement for mechanical reed switches in various industrial and consumer electronics.
