What the ES2 family does

The ES2x family comprises surface mount fast recovery rectifiers spanning part numbers ES2A through ES2J. These devices handle 2 amperes of forward current with reverse voltages ranging from 50 to 600 volts. They feature a super fast 35 nanosecond reverse recovery time and a low 0.95 to 1.7 volt maximum forward voltage drop. Designed for high frequency rectification and freewheeling, these components serve switching mode converters and inverters in consumer, computer, automotive, and telecommunication applications. Packaged in a low profile DO-214AC(SMA) case, they support automated placement and operate across storage temperatures from -55 to +150 degrees Celsius.
