What the AP3032KTR-G1 family does
The AP3032 is an inductor-based DC/DC boost converter designed to drive up to four rows of white LEDs with seven series connections in parallel for backlight applications. It operates with a wide input voltage range of 2.7V to 9V, features a fast 1 MHz switching frequency, and achieves efficiency up to 81% at 5V input and 80mA load. The device includes built-in over-voltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown functions to ensure circuit safety. Available in a compact SOT-23-6 package, it supports frequency PWM dimming and standby modes for high-efficiency operation in LCD panels, digital photo frames, and GPS receivers.
