00 — Overview

What the TLP785 family does

The TLP785 and TLP785F are Toshiba GaAs infrared LED and phototransistor photocouplers in a four-lead plastic DIP package. The standard TLP785 features a 7.62mm pitch, while the TLP785F variant offers a 10.16mm pitch for long creepage surface mounting. These components provide a minimum collector-emitter voltage of 80V, a current transfer ratio of 50%, and an isolation voltage of 5000Vrms. They are designed for signal transmission between different voltage circuits, solid state relays, switching power supplies, and various controllers. The parts operate across a temperature range of -55 to 110°C and are UL approved under file No. E67349.
