00 — Overview

What the RT9193 does

The RT9193-x is a 300mA, ultra-low noise CMOS LDO regulator available in fixed output voltages from 1.5V to 5.0V plus an adjustable version, packaged in SC-70-5, SOT-23-5, TSOT-23-5, WDFN-6L, and MSOP-8. It operates with a wide input voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and features a maximum dropout of 220mV at full load. The device delivers 1.3MHz gain bandwidth, maintains less than 0.01μA standby current in shutdown, and supports a quick start-up time of 50μs. Engineers typically use this regulator in portable RF and wireless applications, battery-powered equipment, and hand-held instruments where space and low noise are critical. It requires only a 1μF output capacitor for stability and includes TTL-logic-controlled shutdown.
