What the MIC5205 does
The MIC5205 is a 150 mA low-noise low-dropout linear regulator available in fixed and adjustable output voltage versions. It features a typical dropout of 165 mV at 150 mA, 150 mA output current, 600 µA quiescent current, and 40 ppm/°C temperature coefficient. Designed for battery-powered equipment, cellular phones, and portable computers, the device includes reverse-battery protection, current limiting, and thermal shutdown. It operates with a supply voltage from 2.5 V to 16 V and is housed in a 5-lead SOT-23 package.
