What the M24C64 family does

The M24C64 is a 64-Kbit serial I²C bus EEPROM available in W, R, F, and DF variants. It supports 1 MHz, 400 kHz, or 100 kHz bus modes and offers 8 Kbyte of memory with 32-byte page writes. The device operates on a single supply voltage from 1.7 V to 5.5 V across industrial and military temperature ranges. It features byte and page write capabilities within 5 ms, random and sequential read modes, and whole array write protection. Designed for long-term storage, it provides more than 4 million write cycles and over 200 years of data retention. Available in multiple packages including PDIP8, SO8, TSSOP8, and various WLCSP options, it serves applications requiring reliable non-volatile data retention.
