00 — Overview

What the RT9080 does

The RT9080x family comprises low-dropout linear regulators delivering up to 600mA output current with input voltages from 1.2V to 5.5V. These devices feature a 2μA ground current at no load, 75dB PSRR at 1kHz, and a dropout voltage of 0.31V at full load. The RT9080 variant lacks a sense pin, while the RT9080N includes it for precision feedback. Both operate with fixed outputs from 0.8V to 3.3V or adjustable settings. They support portable battery equipment, microcontrollers, and notebook computers. Built-in protections include current limiting, over-temperature shutdown, and stable operation with ceramic or tantalum capacitors across miniaturized TSOT-23-5 and ZQFN-4L packages.
