What the G2401S family does
The G2401S is a 100/1000M single port transformer module designed for long haul Gigabit Ethernet 1000 Base-T full duplex applications. It supports four pairs of category 5 UTP cable and complies with the IEEE 802.3ab standard. The device features a 1:1 turns ratio for both transmit and receive paths. Key specifications include a minimum insertion loss of -1.1 dB from 1 to 100 MHz and a minimum return loss of -16 dB from 1 to 30 MHz. It provides a minimum isolation of 1500 Vrms and a minimum common mode rejection of -42 dB across the 1 to 30 MHz range. The module operates within a temperature range of 0 to +70 degrees Celsius and is intended for use in transceivers requiring cable interface isolation and low common mode emissions.
