What the XL4015 family does

The XL4015 is a 180 kHz fixed frequency PWM buck DC/DC converter capable of driving a 5A load with high efficiency up to 96%. It operates from an 8V to 36V input voltage range and features a maximum duty cycle of 100%. The device includes built-in thermal shutdown, current limit, and output short protection functions. It offers excellent line and load regulation with a minimum drop out of 0.3V. Typically used in LCD monitors, portable instrument power supplies, and telecom networking equipment, the XL4015 requires a minimum number of external components due to its internal frequency compensation and fixed-frequency oscillator.
