What the LM393A family does
The LM393 is a low power, low offset voltage dual comparator featuring wide single-supply and split-supply ranges. It operates across 2.0V to 36V single supply or ±1.0V to ±18V split supply, drawing only 0.4mA per comparator. The device maintains a maximum input offset voltage of 5.0mV and input bias current of 25nA at 25°C. With an output sink current up to 20mA and a large signal response time of 300ns, the LM393 serves applications requiring precise voltage comparison in commercial environments from 0°C to 70°C.
