What the L6201 does
The L6201/L6202/L6203 family are full bridge drivers for motor control applications built on Multipower-BCD technology. These devices combine isolated DMOS power transistors with CMOS and bipolar circuits to handle supply voltages up to 48V. Key specifications include a maximum peak current of 5A, total RMS currents ranging from 1A to 4A depending on the variant, and an operating frequency up to 100 kHz. The integrated logic features TTL compatible inputs, cross conduction protection, and thermal shutdown. Available in SO20, Powerdip, and Multiwatt packages, these drivers efficiently manage half-bridge outputs for high performance motor control systems.
