What the CC1110 does

The CC1110Fx/CC1111Fx is a low-power sub-1 GHz system-on-chip combining an 8051 MCU, memory, RF transceiver, and USB controller. It supports 8/16/32 kB flash, 1/2/4 kB RAM, and operates on a 2.0V to 3.6V supply. The CC1111Fx variant adds a full-speed USB 2.0 interface. These chips feature a high-sensitivity receiver, AES security, and consume as little as 0.3 μA in deep sleep. Engineers typically use them for automatic meter reading, home automation, wireless security systems, and industrial monitoring networks where size and power efficiency are critical.
