What the AW9523B family does

The AW9523B is an I2C interface controller integrating 16-channel constant current LED drivers and 16 expandable GPIO ports. It supports 256-step linear dimming across four selectable current ranges and operates on a 2.4V to 5.5V single supply. The device features a 400kHz I2C interface, low standby current under 0.1µA, and hardware reset with 10µs debounce. Engineers typically use it for mobile phones, MP3 players, GPS units, and digital photo frames to manage backlighting or expand GPIO functions. It offers ±4000V HBM ESD protection and functions across -40°C to 85°C in a TQFN4X4-24L package.
